I don’t know if it’s just me, but there is nothing worse than having the same conversation with your friends over and over again. “What do you want to do this weekend?” “I don’t know. What do you want to do?”
Well, I think I have developed a tool to help drive away those unwanted conversations, and at the same time open your eyes to other adventures in your area.
I started this adventure back in 1995, with my ever so popular SummerLists. Each year, I’d create a new list that encompassed some of the old, with some new fun items.
The fun part about creating your own List is that you can challenge your friends and family to join you in checking off various items. Some of the items will drive you to try some new restaurants or bars, while others will take you back to your childhood days. A few of my favorites are gathering some friends/family and taking a road-trip. There are definitely some Check List items that look easier than they really are. One such item is, “Go an entire day without knowing what time it is”
Another added bonus of this website is that you have the ability to check up on your friends’ lists. Whether you are verifying there items, or inviting them to join you in checking off a specific item, you will be able to view any and all persons that have been invited to your custom list.
I have created a custom list for Phoenix, AZ and also for Milwaukee, WI. (Boston, San Diego and Chicago are currently being developed.) Feel free to join on this network and challenge yourself and others to complete as much as possible.
